Maui OnStage Casting for the Garden of BE

The Garden of BE, written by Maui resident Tess Cartwright, will be directed by Steven Dascoulias of Maui Community Theater,  with musical direction by Joe DeRose, Maui bandleader and music teacher.

This musical fantasy, with a mission to protect and bring more joy to the world, is a joyous story with original music, colorful characters and a meaningful message for all! 

All ages, voice types, body types and performance experiences are welcome.  Interested singers, actors, dancers and puppeteers should come prepared with an up tempo song and a character monologue.

Total prepared audition time should not exceed 4 minutes.  Those auditioning should also bring a headshot and resume to the audition as well as a list of any conflicts in the months of July, August, September and October 1st & 2nd.

The Garden of BE will play at the Historic Iao Theater September 23 - October 2, 2011.
